Manuel Mallebrera Moreno

General Manager

Manuel is an experienced Entrepreneur and Multi-functional Venture Strategist with a proven investment track record across Services, Technology, and Manufacturing industries. He has lived in several countries and has a diverse cultural exposure, which has helped him in his career. Currently, he holds an executive position at MIG Group, an Investment Boutique with a global presence focused on sustainable investments impacting the socio-economic developments of emerging nations.

Manuel’s previous roles include leading the EMEA operations of Vitesse Semiconductors Corp and guiding several IPOs, M&As, and restructurings under Exertus Partners. He joined MIG International Ltd as General Manager in 2012 and managed to double-up the company investments in a hard-line international expansion across emerging economies, reaching an advised-portfolio of over $6B+.

Manuel is a tech enthusiast and has an MSc. in Computer Science from Denmark Technical University. He completed a Global Executive MBA at IESE Business School and a course in Business Innovation and Blockchain at MIT. He has written multiple tech-papers and is also a guest speaker at different international forums and business schools in the fields of International Strategy and Emerging Markets.

Haresh Hingorani

VP MIG ASIA
MIG – Bangkok, Thailand

Haresh Hingorani is a highly experienced director with over 30 years of expertise in Investment and Project Management. He has held several senior executive positions in multinational companies, managing International Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Project Operations, and Team Management.

Mr. Hingorani is capable of successfully appointing new channel partners to broaden market reach and quickly ramp-up projects with time/cost/quality constraints.

He has extensive experience in product development and sales of gold and silver jewelry at Creative Jewelry Ltd., where he directly collaborated with clients to create special projects and programs and traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Japan, and India.

As the director for Magnastar Group, he was responsible for import and export of commodity trading activities in Europe, Middle East and Asia. He also launched and run Soria Natural S.A’s in South East Asia.

Mr. Hingorani holds a Business degree from UCLA (CA, USA) and the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). He is bilingual in English & Thai and currently based in Bangkok. He is a dynamic and results-oriented problem solver and project manager with a strong ethical foundation.

Benjamin Charran

VP – International Operations & Logistics
Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago

Benjamin Charran is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. He currently heads the International Operations of MIG Oil & Gas from Trinidad & Tobago.

Prior to joining MIG, Mr. Charran successfully developed and managed technology resources for his family’s educational enterprise across the Caribbean and Central America, expanding the business globally with the implementation and delivery of technology to thousands of educational centers in emerging economies. He also secured contracts for the supply of fuel to buyers in the Caribbean and sovereign nations in Asia and Africa, leveraging his logistics and project management skills.

At MIG, Mr. Charran is a key player in the Trading Division, where he has established strategic links between refineries, logistics companies, and end burners to maximize efficient offloading and turnaround time while maintaining cost-effective targets for stakeholders. He holds a degree in Project Management and is known for his team-player attitude.

George Antoine

Executive Vice President
MIG – Palm Beach, FL (USA)

George is a highly experienced senior executive with over 35 years of experience. He has been a key contributor to MIG’s global operations for the past 8 years.

George possesses excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and has a deep understanding of geography and ethnic cultures. He is a self-starter and highly effective at motivating and managing diverse teams.

Throughout his career, he has developed strong human resource management skills, including the supervision of thousands of staff. George is equally productive in both individual and team environments, having co-written and directed 18 short films.

George is also skilled in fundraising, having secured support from two American presidents, several governors, congressmen, and senators across California, New York, and Florida.

George’s project management competencies are extensive, having directed multi-million dollar construction projects worldwide, and managed luxury hospitality projects, including the biggest casino in southeast Asia and several five-star hotels. He is fluent in English, French, and Arabic, and understands Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, and Sanskrit.

Robert Cousar

Director – Project M. & Investment

Mr. Cousar is a highly experienced Senior Executive in the fields of International Investment & Project Management. He currently holds a Director position at MIG, where he oversees international Turnkey projects for the group. With over 30+ years of experience in strategic business development, structured & project finance, infrastructure planning & development, his expertise is of great value to the firm.

Mr. Cousar has an impressive track record of achievements, including coordinating and establishing a $350 million dollar multiphase master plan in Philadelphia, which received stakeholder support from the Philadelphia City Planning Commission. He also introduced high-performance environmental guidelines for new development, both residential and commercial, in Philadelphia. Mr. Cousar has worked on community-based development services, master plans & project management in partnership with BASF Corporation & Jon Bon Jovi in both domestic and international markets, including Brazil, Ghana, Guinea, Namibia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, South Korea, Tanzania, Togo, and Zimbabwe.

Mr. Cousar is also involved in several professional affiliations such as the National Association of Home Builders, Pennsylvania Association of Home Builders, United States Green Building Council (USGBC) DVGBC (Delaware Valley Green Building Council), United Nations Intergovernmental Renewable Energies Organization. He holds a Major in Business Administration and a Minor in Computer & Information Sciences from both Temple University & San Diego State University respectively.

Darin Weldon

Darin Weldon is a financial empowerment expert with a successful track record in helping businesses reach their full potential. He began his career in major financial institutions in New York City, including Bear Stearns, Citicorp, and Bank of New York, before transitioning to entertainment finance where he funded and raised several successful enterprises.

Darin’s ability to cultivate concepts and turn them into attractive business propositions has solidified his position among venture capitalists and financial institutions. He has since broadened his scope into other industries such as real estate, oil and gas, and energy, where he has funded successful and prolific business ventures internationally.

As a prudent and dispassionate businessman, Darin takes a sharp and strategic approach toward projects, driving the best possible outcomes. For the past 7 years, he has been overseeing MIG’s Business Activities in North America. Darin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from the Art Institute in Atlanta. His decades-long career and expertise make him a trailblazer on Wall Street.

John Rice

MIG Director – Arch & Design
London, UK – Lisbon, Portugal

John Rice is an accomplished entrepreneur and expert in architecture and interior design with over 40 years of experience in business. He began his career in antiques restoration and sales in England and has since become a specialist in project management, interior design, building, and main contracting.

John’s passion for furnishing and marketing led him to promote luxury modern minimal home architecture in Portugal and eventually expand into large-scale resort development worldwide. He created Five Star Portugal, which offers bespoke luxury experiences for people to discover new sites and properties.

John’s skills span design, furnishing, and building, as well as global marketing. His contributions to MIG are invaluable, particularly in large developments and architectural projects. He is business-savvy when it comes to optimizing internal and external design and budgeting, with extensive experience in master planning, real estate and hotel valuation, and M&A.

John earned a degree in Architectural & Interior Design from London College and currently resides in Lisbon, where he leads design developments worldwide while enjoying a quality life.

Iyasul Midal (“Lek”)

Director – MIG
Bangkok, Thailand

Iyasul Midal (“Lek”), a well-known Thai celebrity and movie star, has been an active figure in the Thai entertainment industry for over 38 years. Born in Thailand, Midal spent 22 years of his childhood in Copenhagen, Denmark. He currently serves as a director of MIG Asia and plays a vital role in the firm’s expansion in South-East Asia. Lek is known for his strong ethical values and senior-level interaction with people. His responsibilities at MIG include market expansion, business development, and public relations with institutional and governmental clients.

Lek’s previous work experiences as managing director for Danish Thai Real Estate, Three One Production Co., Ltd., and LM Import Export Co., Ltd., along with his advisory roles for various associations in Thailand, have helped him establish strong business and government connections in Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Cambodia. He can provide investors with insider information on different businesses, projects, and deals.

Lek holds a mechanical engineering degree from Lyngby Technic School and a business degree from Copenhagen Business School. He is fluent in Danish, English, and Thai, which enables him to work seamlessly in a multicultural environment.

Ichiro H. Díaz

MIG Vice President for Africa
Windhoek, Namibia

Ichiro Hung Diaz has recently become a Senior Executive at MIG in Africa through the integration of Do-Lam Investment PTY (LTD) under MIG’s portfolio. Prior to this, he served as Director of Do-Lam (Windhoek, Namibia), where he was responsible for Institutional Relationships in Government Development Programs across Southern Africa. Ichiro has extensive experience in financial, trading, and consulting fields, which have added great regional knowledge to MIG’s international network. As a result, he has been holding the position of Vice President for International Relationships since 2015.

Ichiro has lived in several countries across Africa, Latin America, and Europe, and is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Afrikaans. He holds a degree in Foreign Languages from the Pedagogical Institute Enrique Jose Varon in Habana, Cuba. His vast experience and linguistic abilities make him a valuable asset to MIG’s team.

Sedi U.Gouseb

MIG Executive Director – Africa
Windhoek, Namibia

Sedi is a highly experienced executive who has worked in both the public and private sectors across various industries in Africa. He has extensive knowledge in Political Affairs, having undertaken multiple government engagements at the highest political institutions in Namibia and neighboring countries over the last two decades.

In addition to his government work, Sedi has held various advising and executive roles in companies such as Omakete Investment, Kuiseb Fishing Enterprises, Kuiseb Fish Processor, NIBC Coldstore, and Hodago Fishing.

Sedi is currently the founder and CEO of Do-Lam Investment PTY (LTD), where he has brought his local expertise in the Financial sector, trading, and consulting to MIG. He has also expanded the international networking through the union (2015) with MIG.

Sedi holds an Executive Director position for African Affairs at MIG and a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Lutheran University. With his extensive experience and expertise, Sedi is a valuable asset to any organization he works with.

MOH’D (Mario) Farraj

MIG – MIDDLE EAST

Mr. Farraj is a highly experienced entrepreneur with over 45 years of experience in various industries. He began his career in the Travel and Tourism sector in Saudi Arabia, and later moved to Canada where he successfully developed multimillion-dollar investments in real estate. He then launched a Rough and Cut Diamond trading enterprise in Belgium, where he lived for over 20 years.

Mr. Farraj’s diverse background and expertise make him a valuable asset to MIG, where he serves as a director covering the Middle East. He is responsible for directing the expansion of the firm into the highest layers of Institutional & Sovereign entities in the region. He has a proven track record of optimizing operations, implementing growth strategies, and improving services while strengthening the bottom line.

In addition to his business acumen, Mr. Farraj is fluent in six languages and has lived in many countries. He is an outgoing and customer-focused leader with a natural ability to generate new business and foster loyalty among all stakeholders. His recent achievements include Commodity and Project Funding in several Eastern African countries.

Stephan Hellin

Stephane Hellin is an accomplished commodity trader with a vast knowledge of the agriculture industry. Born in Paris in 1982 to a French-Brazilian family, Stephane was inspired by his family’s farming background and entrepreneurial mindset. He began his career in accounting, gaining a strong foundation in business finances across various industries.

Stephane’s passion for agriculture led him to establish himself as a successful fresh produce trader in Brazil. As the head of MIG Brazil and a grower himself, he has unparalleled knowledge and experience in the agricultural trading space. Stephane’s understanding of the needs of both growers and customers sets him apart in the industry.

Stephane’s expertise in commodity trading has facilitated the expansion of companies, diversified product offerings, and strengthened relationships with key clients in global markets. He is known for his strategic vision, commitment to excellence, and ability to inspire and motivate, cultivating long-lasting and successful business relationships.
